The Housekeeping Aide performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain   a clean, sanitary and esthetically pleasing environment.



*Complies with PH BROOKVILLE  policies and procedures, accreditation agency requirements, and   federal, state or local law and regulations


Cleaning   of patient, public, or service areas.




Cleans   Isolation/Precautions rooms with proper protective equipment.



Maintain   procedures for Isolation/Precautions.




Trash   Removal is done daily, both biohazard and regular trash.


Follow   regular schedule of cycle cleaning.



Must   have knowledge of Housekeeping products and their usage.



Use   universal precautions to protect yourself and others from infection.



Follow   good safety procedures.



Maintain   a friendly, courteous attitude.



Adhere   to Housekeeping policies and procedures to insure a sanitary environment.



Maintain   patient safety.



General   duties as directed.





  • Previous cleaning experience preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalency preferred
  • Customer service attitude
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively required
  • Previous hospital housekeeping experience preferred
